Description

Ara is a furniture fabric from Kvadrat which was released in 2022. It is a sparkling furniture fabric designed by Margrethe Odgaard. Characteristic of her work are the innovative mixed color expressions, which can also be found in this series in the subtle speckles that look like a helderthe starry sky is spread over the fabric.

The inspiration for color palette from Ara Margrethe Odgaard has found tropical birds, which are known for their bright colors.

Normally, color differences are often created by creating colored fibers within the yarn. Special about it Ara is that the dots are woven with colored jacquard on the plain background.

Ara is woven from wool with a pinch of nylon. This makes the fabric hard-wearing, lightfast in combination with the natural flame retardantagenfrom karacharacteristics of wool. This beautiful, warm-colored furniture fabric comes in 8 colors.
