The Norwegian Design Council jury statement: “Sustainabilityame aesthetics. The product is seen as innovative in weaving technique and as a new use of material. A woollen fabric with so much elasticity offers possibilities that can influence the expression of the furniture and opens up new, curved shapes in upholstered furniture. The jury believes that the product shows that all phases of the production process have been well samenworked to achieve the best possible result. The fabric reflects quality through durability, choice of material, sheen, structure and weaving tradition. It has an exclusive expression that distinguishes the material from the competition and communicates the GU profile in a good way.niceAccording to the jury, the product can contribute to innovation through itsagen to strengthen the international reputation of Scandinavian furniture design.”
Prinsdal does have a number of specific characteristics. To start with, this collection is woven a bit narrower than normal, namebody 123 cm. In addition, it has fire retardantagenthe factors, good lightfastness and abrasion resistance.
Prinsdal is woven in 16 colours.
