Swedese is a Swedish furniture manufacturer founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve & Jerker Ekström and Sven Bertil Sjöqvist. This timeless furniture design brand has proven its own vision over time. The starting point is namecreating furniture for the future that is based on the fundaments of Scandinavian modemne traditions.
Lamino by Swedese was designed by Yngve Ekström in 1956. Characteristic of this chair is the sturdy seat that its comfort gets through the use of short-haired sheep wool with a very dense fleece structure. The high fleece density ensures that the heat is retained and the body fluids are removed. This keeps the muscles warmer, which can relieve back pain, pressure sores or decubitus.
These sheepskins are custom made especially for the famous Swedese Lamino. This means that the fur is rectangular and long enough to upholster the Lamino. This is done with precision and craftsmanship with some excess to be able to upholster yourself.
Alle hides are tanned with minerale substances that keep the leather fuller, softer and thicker.
